WILDERNESS AND REMOTE FIRST AID
is now taught in New York State.
Take classes in upstate New York State, central New York State, western New york State, the southern tier, anywhere in New York and avoid traveling.  This 16 hour, 2-day course certification is widely accepted for hiking, camping, climbing, hunting, fishing, remote work locations, loggers, guides, canoeing, kayaking, rafting, ice climbing, and any other outdoor activities that place you and your group more than 2 hours from rescue.  This is the course now required by Boy Scouts of America leadership.
If you are from a state other than New York, please check with your local American Red Cross and ask to find a location where this course is being offered. ARC National price: $110 p/p.
